Packers head coach Mike McCarthy dropped a huge hint about his quarterback situation on Friday morning. Speaking on AM-1070 in Madison, McCarthy said of Matt Flynn, "He's had a good week of practice, and this is always a big hurdle for a quarterback when he gets his first start. This is something he'll really benefit from." Nothing is official, but this shouldn't really come as a surprise. Aaron Rodgers (concussion) hasn't been able to practice and seems to be in no position to play. The Boston Globe's Greg Bedard has been hearing "all week" that the Packers knew Rodgers wouldn't start. McCarthy wanted the Pats to prepare for both QBs. Source: RotoTimes
"prepare for both qb's"? this game will not be won by matt flynn and imo saddly i dont think rodgers will/can win this game for the packers either. this game is about the packers deffense overcoming all the injuries from this season and out playing tom freakin brady. the coaches and players for the patriots are going to ready at home for the pack.
I say ugly to the tune of 30 plus for the Pats. They won't let up until they lock home field for the Playoffs.
Freaking ugly, but the way we played the Lions with Rodgers in last week, it isn't a machtup anyway. Big butt wipping for the Pack on SNF... :icon_sad:
