hey guys i been to the giants website can;t find any of the players comments after the game. Did they slip out the back door.
Best freaking game of my life. I will still go to anywhere from 2-5 games per year between now and the day I die but I have a feeling it might never be as good as that again. Freaking incredible. Giants fans lost their freaking crap and many were disgraceful human beings but I gotta give credit where it's due. The few in my immediate area were good peeps and stadium security did a good job yanking the riff raff.
Cracks me up how Matt Dodge is the scapegoat of this loss. The D gives up 21 points, the O can't kill any clock whatsoever or put any more points on the board, and the special teams coverage on that punt all freaking blew it... but let's blame the punter. Unbelievable.
^ That's what I thought too. Eagles score 28 in the last 8 minutes of the game but it's the punters fault. Gimmie a break.
I totally agree where was that so call vaunted Giants defense. I love seeing the Giants fan lose in misery it's just a wonderful thing to see.
Like you or anyone else saw this one coming after New York was up 31-10 with 7:30 left. And anyone who felt they did....then your a bunch of liars.
i just think this was a heart warming tale that allowed the younger generation of giants fans that weren't around for the 1st miracle at the meadowlands to feel the pain that their parents felt 30years ago.
All I can say is worst loss ever. NOt onyl that but I missed exactly the first 53 minutes of the game thanx to my furnace crapting the bed the night before. I was up until 11am, fixing it. I tried holding out to watch the game but I fell asleep around 12pm. Woke up to teh score being 31-10. I was like oh crap nice!. WRONG I awoke to the biggest choke job I've witnessed outside of the 04 Yankees/Redsox ALCS and 06 49er playoff loss. This was much worse than that 9er game. The Giants dominated this game for 3 quarters. Historic win for the Eagles and their fans and a historic pie in the face to the Giants. I want to know why the heck the Giants went into a prevent defense with 8 minutes left. At that point they are up 31-10. Just continue blitzing the ever living crap out of Vick. Then you have the special teams, Coughlin and other coaches said be prepared for the onsides. Where was the hands squad on that? Total inept coaching followed by the biggest brainheck I've ever witnessed in Matt Dodge. Like Pedro martinez said, You just have to tip your cap and call the Eagles the Giants' daddy. I'm not sure how the Giants shake this loss or if they can but they better. This team better show some testicular fortitude and fast. Congrats to Eagles fan and their first place Eagles.
sandwhiched in that time was 4 superbowl appearances with 3 Superbowl wins, one of them being recent and the most epic superbowl win of all time. In between those miracle at the meadowlands, the Eagles have a lot of almosts.

From the corner of the endzone where all 4 TDs were scored it didn't look like a prevent D. It looked like the same zero blitz they beat him with all game. Vick just figured out how to beat it by dodging the first hit and turning on the jets in a scramble.
I don't know how it got on this topic, but no, amazing finish by the Steelers, but they had other options like kick a FG and it was against the Cards. Giants had to get a TD and did it against arguably the best team in NFL history who was 18-0 at the time.
You guys can continue to reminisce in another thread. This one is for the biggest comeback of the year.
