It would be easy for the Cowboys to get excited about how they battled and fought back against the Cardinals Saturday night with third string quarterback Stephen McGee at the controls. The Cowboys ralled from a 21-3 deficit to take a 26-24 lead. But a missed extra point by David Buehler and poor play on defense allowed the Cardinals to drive down field for the game winning field goal with 10 seconds left. "I can't even fathom missing an extra point. ... I'm mad as hell," said Dallas owner/general manager Jerry Jones after his defending NFC East champions dropped to 5-10, 4-3 under interim coach Jason Garrett. Jones has had enough of the moral victories and said losing to the Cardinals was unexpected and unacceptable so much so that he refused to address interim coach Jason Garrett’s future chances to be hired as the permanent coach. “Again, that’s not something I even am thinking about right now,†Jones said. “I’m mad as hell. I know all our fans are. That’s where that is.†Source: Star-Telegram
i would think jj would be in a permanent state of 'mad as hell' this season ................. a missed extra point is just one of a million things the cowboys have done wrong this year
