Jenn Sterger reportedly took on Roger Goodell in a secret December meeting over the Brett Favre investigation. According to Joseph Conway, Sterger's lawyer, Sterger called Goodell "delusional" if he thought Favre's alleged actions were an isolated incident and also told Goodell that she felt the situation was "a case of 'David vs. Goliath.'" Goodell reportedly said, "Why do you say versus? We're not fighting against you, we're fighting with you. I just need answers." Sterger reportedly tearfully responded, "I gave you answers over a month ago!" She later added, "I'm not questioning your authority. I'm questioning whether you're actually going to do anything, because I don't think you are." Sterger's lack of faith in the league's disciplinary process was the reason she gave for not coming forward immediately in 2008. The alleged meeting happened on Dec. 16, two weeks before Favre was fined $50,000 for not cooperating with the league and one month after Sterger was questioned by NFL investigators. According to Conway, Goodell asked Sterger if she did anything to encourage Favre's alleged behavior, which Sterger denied. "The reason I didn't come forward two years ago," Sterger allegedly explained, "is because the results would have been the same, except now I have representation who has my back and protects me." Well... if this ho actually did challenge Goodell... this is exactly why Favre got next to nothing as far as a punishment. You don't tell Goodell what to do.
