Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco Would Welcome A Trade To The Patriots?

Discussion in 'Cincinnati Bengals' started by BigBlueBruiser, Jan 17, 2011.

  1. Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco sent Ian R. Rapoport of the Boston Herald a twitter message Monday suggesting that he'd welcome a trade to the Patriots this offseason. Answering Rapoport's analysis that the Patriots have a need at receiver, Ochocinco tweeted: "PePe and Bill #EPIC." Pepe is apparently another of Ocho's alter egos and Bill is, of course, Belichick. Ochocinco has soured on Bengals coach Marvin Lewis, stating that he doesn't know if the two can "co-exist" at this point. Belichick loves a good bargain, but it's hard to picture him bringing aboard another declining, attention-seeking receiver after the Randy Moss drama last September.

  2. The Patriots are missing something.....but I'm not sure Chad is the missing piece.

You'd rather play for Tom Brady over Carson Palmer? DUH. Only other guy who could put the ball more on the money would be Peyton.

Belichick is smarter than that. He won't want Ochocinco or whoever he is this week.

i don't think ocho is the type receiver they need. they need someone that can stretch the field. ocho isn't that guy, especially at this stage of his life.

Now ............. Desean Jackson? Mike Wallace? Brandon Lloyd? ............ THAT is what they need
