Agent Bus Cook has added a second big-name quarterback to his list of clients. According to CBS Sports, Auburn QB Cam Newton has signed Cook as his agent ahead of the 2011 NFL draft. Cook is the longtime agent of Brett Favre, who recently filed retirement papers with the NFL. Cook will share agent duties with Perennial Sports, a Washington, D.C.-based group that also represents Newton's brother, Cecil Newton Jr. Cecil is a free-agent offensive lineman. A dual threat at QB, Newton is forgoing his senior season and is viewed as a Tim Tebow-like prospect -- with more upside -- who could be selected in the first round of April's draft. The same agent as Steve McNair too. I am so not sold on him yet, I need to see some combine or workout on him. His passing skills don't impress me.
Wow.....forgot about that. If McNair was still alive.....he could've been really helpful to Cam making the transition to the NFL.
