Several injured members of the Green Bay Packers expressed frustration on Tuesday that the team will not bring them to Dallas when it travels to Super Bowl XLV next Monday. Instead, the Packers will bring players on injured reserve such as Jermichael Finley and Nick Barnett to Dallas on Thursday -- after the team is documented in its official photo on Tuesday. Barnett and Finley made their displeasure known on Twitter. * Said Barnett: "Kinda sad… Found out basically IR guys can not be in team picture… It's kinda sad to think.. Just goes you injured yourself you not part" * Said Finley: "I never trip abt anything, but the way IR players are getting treated not cool.." C'mon Man...these guys contributed 2 the season as well...let them have their face in the picture. sad
Same thing happened with Jeremy Shockey and Mathias Kiwianuka three years ago when they weren't included in the Super Bowl 42 photo. Not the first time that has happened.....
