According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins, who tried to acquire Patriots Pro Bowl guard Logan Mankins before the trade deadline and likely will have interest in him this offseason in free agency, can be encouraged by this: Mankins told The Boston Herald on Friday that he doesn’t expect to be back with New England. “I don’t see them trying to keep me,’’ he said, adding he would be unhappy if the Patriots put the franchise tag on him. Miami could hurt two division rivals by pursuing Mankins and Jets receiver Brad Smith, who averaged 7.1 yards per rush when he lined up at quarterback and was second in the league in kickoff return average (28.6).

Of course Miami is interested considering how banged up the O-line is and the fact he is a divisional rivals it only makes sense, I don't think the will get Brad Smith but you never know...
