It's on Dailymotion. It's very entertaining up until around the mark where Sheamus enters, after that, aside from the Dusty Finish involving Santino, it dies on it's arse. It didn't help that the crowd didn't care about ADR and the swerve that took the air right out of the building.
Dirtsheets are saying that both Booker T and Diesel (Kevin Nash) may be sticking round for a while, which the mark part of me loves.
Del Rio vs Edge is going to be money. Those two personalities can pretty much both be heels and it will work. Morrison's weakness is still the mic. Also, it doesn't help that the McMahon isn't sold on him as a "tough guy". Wade Barrett needs to climb up the ranks some more. He got the hot opening with Nexus but it fizzled fast. He needs to pay his dues now and earn some respect. Overall thought the PPV lived up to the hype...and it wasn't much hype even by the WWE. They did a crapty job to promote it and it showed why. The best match of the night was Edge vs Ziggler (that dude can work, wow). It was pretty much downhill from there. All I know is.....how much did it have to suck to be Kane coming out at #40 and the crowd to give you NO reaction since they never got the huge pop for one big comeback. Hell, even Christian would have been a major pop after Edge used his finisher earlier and the whole crowd caught on right away.
Dolph is very underrated, at least by the IWC. I was unsure of him as a character and on the mic but he's been very good recently, even without Vickie drawing insane heat. His match against DBD at Bragging Rights was a thing of beauty as well, admittedly Bryan could put on a 5* match with Great Khali, but he showed he could keep up with the best. I would be very surprised if he isn't WHC by the end of the year. I agree that Morrison isn't hot with his mic work, but when he was a heel (Johnny Nitro/Morrison&Miz era) he wasn't completely terrible, he's just suffering from the fact that his character got stripped back heavily once he turned face, which is a shame because his original gimmick would have been fine, just have him being an arrogant a-hole to heels instead. Saying that though, putting him over as smooth and ultra-athletic seems to be working out alright, it's getting him over finally. I hope he gets a shot. The only thing I doubt with the tough guy thing is that Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels didn't have that look of being a bad ass, and they did more than okay. If Vince thinks he can make money out of JoMo, he'll put him the main event regardless. Personally, I think Barrett should have been WWE Champion by this point doing the Nexus angle. For me, the fact that Nexus consistently buried is what caused the angle to become dull, along with horrible booking. I'm not overly sure with his ring work, but everything else is there. I'm disappointed though that Ezekiel Jackson is getting more of the focus than him in the Corre though, he makes Morrison seem like The Rock on the mic, and seems pretty limited moveset wise. If any powerhouse deserves a push, it be Skip Sheffield. Oh, and yeah, the Rumble got a shockingly bad build up. I think it got one week of build up on Raw and Smackdown, and a couple of ADR promos telling us it is his destiny. Seemed very half assed considering it's consistently the second highest grossing PPV. Would not be at all surprised if the buyrates were way down.
