Former NFL head coach Jim Mora Jr. is interested in getting back into the business, and would love to hear from the Titans. He said he has friends in the front office and is familiar with the roster. "If they were to express interest, I would certainly be interested," said Mora, who was head coach of the Falcons (2004–06) and Seahawks (2009). In Seattle, Mora worked with Titans Vice President of Player Personnel Ruston Webster. "General Manager Mike Reinfeldt and Ruston Webster are two guys that I know from the past and I know they are good football men. Any time you get a chance to be a head coach in the National Football League, I think you would have to consider it," Mora said. "For me, they know that I am here and if they are interested in talking they’ll call and if not, they won’t. I don’t think there is any sense in lobbying for it. But I have been a head coach, and I am familiar with Ruston. Anyone would be flattered to get a call from them." The Titans interviewed offensive line coach Mike Munchak on Monday, and he’s considered the favorite to replace Jeff Fisher. Offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger interviewed on Tuesday. Mora, currently an analyst for NFL Network, turned down opportunities to be a defensive coordinator with the Broncos and Eagles. As for Fisher's departure from theTitans, Mora said: "I have known Jeff for a long, long time and have great respect for him as a person and as a coach. I can’t say there is a lot that surprised me any more in any professional sports. It is a volatile world we work in." Source: Nashville Tennessean
