Washington Redskins DT Albert Haynesworth is expected to surrender to police next week after officials obtained a warrant against him for alleged simple assault stemming from a traffic incident. Fairfax, Va., police officer Shelley Broderick told the Washington Post that Haynesworth's lawyer told police he would turn himself in next week. The warrant stems from an incident on Wednesday when police suspect Haynesworth may have assaulted a man in a road rage incident. Police told the Post that an unnamed 38-year-old driver of a Honda Civic told them that Haynesworth allegedly struck him after they had an altercation at a stoplight. The driver told police Haynesworth allegedly was tailgating him and got out of his car to confront the other driver.
