The Denver Broncos are talking with the NFL regarding making their alternative, burnt-orange color their full-time home jersey beginning with the 2012 season. League approval, or rejection, may come during the NFL owners meetings in March. For now the league has not officially set the league meetings out of sensitivity to the collective bargaining agreement negotiations. Team surveys show Broncos fans are ready for a change. If the league approves, the burnt-orange color would be the home jersey for eight or nine of the 10 games.

Because the NFL is a corporation.

Different teams can't say they're their own company.
