Contractors installing additional seating at the Super Bowl at Cowboys Stadium walked off the job just hours before kickoff, according to the fire chief in Arlington, Texas. “Problems were found. They were told to correct them,â€￾ said Don Crowson, as reported by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “A guy came up to me and said, ‘We are done. We can’t do any more. We’re out of here. I called the NFL and told them.â€￾ Before the Super Bowl, Crowson said the city had not had problems with any temporary seating that was installed. Arlington Mayor Robert Cluck has backed Crowson’s story. About 1,200 seats, being installed by Seating Solutions out of New York, were deemed not ready, and fans holding tickets for those seats had to be relocated around the stadium. About 400 of those fans found themselves without seats for the game.
