The NFL and the NFL Players Association are met in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday to continue dialogue toward a new collective bargaining agreement, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Neither side would comment on what was discussed or how fruitful the talks were. The sides, who met in smaller groups after Saturday's two-hour, full negotiating session, are expected to resume talks Thursday. More talks are scheduled for this month with both parties working to get a new deal done before March 4, when the current deal expires. Source: NFL.com
Sounds like the chances of the 2011 season resuming as scheduled appears to be getting stronger. As well as free agency starting at it's normal time.
As much as the owners say they are ready for a stoppage ...they don't want it they can make slot more $$$ if all resumes like business as usual .....
Guess Roger thinks he's immune to the SI jinx. Be interesting to see how that works out for him.
