NFL Players Repeat Calls For Owners To Open Books

The current players COULD in turn go sign with the UFL.

 

I cant believe how many people fault the players....this is the owners. They are claiming much smaller profits, but wont open the books to show the players that they don't have family members or what not on the payroll making tens of millions of dollars making their bottom line look much much smaller? The owners made a statement, the players called bullcrap, and the players will win this time...and if the court system makes the owners open their books then I'll be willing to bet they look like liars and foolish.

They need to show the bottom line profitability and add payments to the owner, the owners family, other companies owned by the owners, any companies owned by families of the owners to get the real profitability margin of a team.

Very similar to the Early 90's when the Eagles cried that their profits were low, during the Reggie White Saga. Turns out Braman was getting paid a salary of $5M a year which in turn skewed the profits.

A third party needs to go through the books...
