Auburn University quarterback Cam Newton has workouts scheduled with nine teams, including seven who pick in the Top 10 of the 2011 NFL Draft. One of those teams, the Washington Redskins, will officially work Newton out on April 15, Chris Russell of ESPN-980 AM reports. The 2010 Heisman Trophy winner will likely be among the Top 5 picks in this year's draft, making it unlikely that he'll be available to the Redskins, who pick 10th overall. Prior to last year's draft, the Redskins worked out Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford, the 2008 Heisman Trophy winner, on April 15. Bradford was chosen by the St. Louis Rams with the first overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, three slots ahead of the Redskins, who took offensive tackle Trent Williams, Bradford's teammate.
