Mike Brown Hopes Bengals QB Carson Palmer Plays For Cincinnati In 2011

  1. "People close to the organization" tell CBS Sports' Clark Judge that Bengals owner Mike Brown is still hopeful Carson Palmer will change his mind and play for the team in 2011. Palmer isn't going to change his mind. But this explains the expectation that Cincinnati would pass on Missouri QB Blaine Gabbert if he's available with the fourth pick in the draft. Sources tell Judge that the Bengals "won't consider" trading Palmer this year, because Brown "is not convinced Palmer is leaving." Cincinnati Enquirer reporter Joe Reedy foresees the Bengals drafting a quarterback early in the second round.

My friend, who will hopefully be joining this site with her fiance this week when they move into my apartment, is a HUGE Bengals fan. She thinks Mike Brown is the worst owner in the history of any major sport. While I don't think he's the worse I do know Cincy fans want him gone he does nothing for this team.
