One NFL coach admits to some level of concern over TCU QB Andy Dalton's red hair color. "Has there ever been a red-headed quarterback in the NFL who's really done well?" the coach asked. "It sounds idiotic, but is there any way that could be a factor? We've wondered." Doesn't Jeff Garcia count? Or did Todd Marinovich ruin it for all gingers? As Peter King of Sports Illustrated points out, Boomer Esiason visited no teams and had just one team work him out before being chosen in the second round of the 1984 draft. Fast forward two-and-half decades, and even Dalton's hair color is under scrutiny as draft season reaches new heights of absurdity. Source: Sports Illustrated
WTF? That is totally idiotic. We're analyzing hair color now? Really? Dalton isn't a pot-head like Marinovich. He does compare well to Garica. Boomer had blond hair since we're on the subject. But this is the most insane analysis of a prospect I've heard in some time.
It's not JUST hair color. It's the whole ginger package.....fair skin, repulsive predominance of freckles, lack of a soul, etc
Marinovich was a tweaker not a pothead. It's a legit gripe, gingers are aliens. I'm pretty sure that there's some rule about aliens playing in the NFL. And not a rule in favor of it, but one against it.
I dont think black people should be allowed to play QB I dont think gingers should be allowed to leave the womb
They used to throw crap like that off the cliff in Sparta, 300 said so. "Throw it back, throw it back.."
