Reggie Bush hinted Thursday night that the trade up for Alabama running back Mark Ingram could preclude him from restructuring to stay with the Saints. "It's been fun New Orleans," Bush tweeted just after the first round wrapped up. Coach Sean Payton went out of his way to insist Ingram has no bearing on Bush's future. "I wouldn't even begin to look at how it will affect Reggie's status with us at all," said Payton, citing last year's injuries at the position instead. It sounds like Payton has some hurt feelings to soothe over once the new league year opens. Source: Reggie Bush: Twitter.com
If Reggie Bush's gonna be a free agent, how in the hell does Tiki Barber think someone's gonna sign him.
I know last week I said he'd be gone if we got ingram....after sleeping on it I'm more worried about pierre thomas. Of course with our bad luck with running backs we could keep all four.... MY BRAIN IS FULL OF FREAK
This isn't the first time the Saints took a RB in the first while another first rounder at the position was already on the roster. They took Deuce McAllister 23rd in '01 while they still had Ricky Williams.
