The Raiders' lease to play at the newly named Overstock.com Coliseum runs through 2013, at which point the team would like to move to a new stadium. It seems unlikely the state of California or the city of Oakland would finance a new facility, and there are rumors the team once again could leave the Bay Area. The team and city will split a total of $7.5 million over the next six years (or until they move out) for the stadium naming rights, providing some much-needed revenue to the team. I wouldn't blame them for leaving this time. The Coliseum is a decrepit craphole, and there's no way they're getting a new stadium in the Bay Area right now. Crap even the "good guy" 49ers can't get a stadium in the area at the moment, and Candlestick is even worse than the Coliseum.
Or even better..... The Los Angeles Raiders of Anaheim. That actually could've happened 21 years ago when they said they welcomed playing their games there.
