Hall of Fame quarterback Roger Staubach helped the Dallas Cowboys win two Super Bowls in his 11 seasons with the team. It has been now 15-plus years since the franchise last claimed the Lombardi Trophy, but Staubach believes that in current starter Tony Romo, Dallas has the right man under center to reclaim such glory. "This guy has done unbelievable," Staubach said of Romo while attending the Pat Summerall Humble Beginnings Luncheon on Monday in Dallas. "He's right at the top in the NFL as far as a quarterback -- as far as his statistics and the things he does. I'm mystified, because it's not our quarterback that is the problem in Dallas. We've got a Super Bowl quarterback."

Keep telling yourself that Dallas. If every off season someone else from the long past glory days gives a pro Romo soundbite he might have a long and unillustrious career.

I hate Romo. I've hated him since he came into the league. I don't understand why anyone puts any faith into him. He's never done anything worth anything, and when he had the chance he choked.

In his defense he didn't have the benefit of knowing the opposing defenses signals.

The guy is a good regular season quarterback. Of course, there are plenty of those. Don't know what Staubach is smokin', but Romo isn't even a playoff QB yet. And you need to be that before you're a Super Bowl QB.

So winning in the playoffs doesn't make you a playoff qb...I think he won one against the eagles

He's blown more playoff games than he's won.

Come in olly...give Romo credit. It was Carrie Underwood not Clarkson.

Romo's one of the better options at QB in the league. Super Bowl QB? Hasn't won one yet so IMO I wouldn't call him one.

I'm just glad we have people from glory days, who knows what it's like winning super bowls, to know when they see a super bowl quarterback. Jussayin'.
