Wide receiver Plaxico Burress is set to be released from prison this Monday. He’s spent two years there after violating New York’s stringent gun laws. Burress is looking for another shot in the NFL, and by all accounts, the Eagles seem like the next landing spot for Burress, although according to one of Burress’ former teammates, Philadelphia could have some competition.
