When the NFL Coaches Association filed a “friend of the court†brief in support of the players they put the people they represent in an awfully difficult spot. They are caught between a rock and a hard place to say the least. The brief gave the impression that coaches were turning their noses up at the men who write their checks, to rectify that situation, staffs from 15 teams openly spoke out against the brief and revealed they had no prior knowledge it was going to be filed in the first place. Situation solved on that front. But now those coaching staffs will eventually have to answer to the players in their locker room. “Like they say, you’re either with us or against us,†an undisclosed Houston Texans player told Jerome Solomon at the Houston Chronicle. It’s not a stretch to assume Gary Kubiak isn’t the only coach to upset the players by taking sides in the current labor battle, 14 other coaching staffs will also be questioned going forward but it’s an argument for knowing when to keep your mouth shut. These "Journalists" can write all these articles, but in the end, they are all writing the same thing. This thing, of course, is that it's one big mess and everyone's looking at each other waiting for one of them to clean it up.
