Do you think they actually let that happen, though? Miz drops from title contender..to fight Riley, who many thought would be released not long ago. I understand the Storyline in every aspect, but him losing to Riley would be surprising to me, at least here.
I don't think it will happen. But maybe the WWE is trying to push Riley as something other than a lame goon to the Miz? I hate the Miz. I want the Miz to end up on TNA or something. He makes me wonder if anything good ever came out of my state. Thats all. I will bet for Riley, I don't actually think Riley will win, but I will bet on him out of hope.
Alex Riley almost overnight has gone from Miz' lame duck lackey to Raw's number two face and getting pops that are comparable to those given to Cena & Orton. I'm not sure if they intended for this to happen and hoped to use him to keep Miz looking strong, but they have pretty much stumbled on a potential star if they keep this momentum.
Regardless of the reason, I don't think he'd be a bad talent if they let him develop. Keeping him in jobber form beneath the Miz is a waste. Hell, anything with The Miz is a waste, so.
A lot of people can do better than The Miz. Kofi Kingston, being my biggest hope to get a push, but who knows? R-Truth? Lol. THAT'S THA TRUF'! Seriously, a bit ridiculous that he's in the main event scene, even if it's for a limited time. Looks like the ME scene on Smackdown is looking better than Raw's now.
Right now all of the WWE is falling apart, I am not sure what to think anymore. They need some new talent because the WWE has lost its allure.
WWE has yo-yoed too many people for too long to get them to care about them and until Vince dies (He not quitting or stepping down) I don't see that changing. That said R-Turth nutcase persona is really enteraining to me
Updated Card: WWE Championship Match: John Cena [c] vs. R-Truth The Miz vs. Alex Riley Wade Barrett (c) vs. Ezekiel Jackson for the WWE Intercontinental Championship Randy Orton (c) vs. Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship
I really hope Christian pulls it off, heel or not he deserves to hold that title for more than a day.

Andy Preview Time :) WWE Championship Match: John Cena [c] vs. R-Truth I'm trying to remember the last time when a Cena PPV match has had build up...with little focus on the Superhero himself. R-Truth has been on fire since his heel turn into the Little Jimmy hating psycho, and his new character has been a bit of a highlight of WWE lately, but lets get to the facts: He's late 30's, marginal worker with a criminal record. Add in the fact that the PPV is in Washington and has a patriotic theme, there's no way the modern day, Hulk Hogan-esque American Hero John Cena takes a loss here. I will make another prediction also, this will not ever be mistaken for a 5* epic. The Miz vs. Alex Riley Riley overnight has become one of the most over faces in the company, but The Miz certainly isn't that the point to start putting over guys over. This will likely be booked to make Miz look strong and give him back some credibility after being made to look real weak recently. Wade Barrett (c) vs. Ezekiel Jackson for the WWE Intercontinental Championship A year ago, Wade Barrett spearheaded one of WWE's best angles post-attitude era. Today, he's putting over WWE's latest hoss who has as much chance of getting over as Braden Walker did. Jackson gets the win here, and Barrett continues his fall from grace *shakes head*. Randy Orton (c) vs. Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship Really don't know what to make of this. Christian has carried Randy to some great matches recently, but with Randy being the only non-mid/lower card face on Smackdown, there's not much doubt of him winning the feud. There is a possibility Christian gets another short reign, but the Orton Smackdown heel burial world tour is well on it's way. Alberto Del Rio vs The Big Show Last time Big Show lost a feud as a face... Yeah that's right, our friend Alberto continues his run as Jobber to the Not-So-Stars, and will leave us wondering when the guy who was meant to be a "big deal, fairly quick" will break into main event status one year on. CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio Replace Big Show with Rey, and you pretty much get the same thing as above. CM Punk continues to be gravely disrespected by the bookers by jobbing to everyone's favourite broken down midget luchadore. Kofi Kingston (c) vs Dolph Ziggler for the WWE United States Championship This feud has covered multiple years and brands, yet there is absolute no heat between the perenial midcarders. Sure they'll put on a decent match, but why should we give a crap when the bookers clearly don't give a crap about these two. All in all, it's looking like a pretty mediocre card and the focus on stupid Obama parodys (that have been done better and to death) shows that the WWE also know this is the case. Money in the Bank hopefully will buck the trend next month, because good god do the WWE need to create some new stars.
