In an amazingly recidivist development, trouble-prone Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt was arrested in Hoboken, N.J. one day after pleading guilty to careless driving in Bayonne, N.J. Britt was charged with two counts of resisting arrest, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. This happened after Britt caught a break and wasn't charged with a felony in a case stemming from a police chase, he was fined $478 and given four points on his driver's license when he pleaded guilty. In this latest case, Britt was assigned a June 16 court date. Police are alleging that Britt did "purposely prevent or attempt to prevent a public servant from lawfully performing an official function by means of force or violence, specifically by refusing to open your hand when ordered to do so then pulling your hand away," adding that he used his body "to push away from the officers" and pulled away his arm when officers tried to place him in handcuffs.
