CM Punk Suspended Indefinitely Following Shoot Promo

Monday Night Raw’s abrupt conclusion last night was not due to technical difficulties. The decision to suddenly end the broadcast in that manner was made by WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, who gave this quote to WWE.com: “CM Punk was suspended indefinitely for his unprofessional conduct as soon as Raw went off the air.” With his WWE contract expiring on July 17, one can only assume that this suspension effectively terminates CM Punk’s tenure with WWE.

I turned on RAW because there was nothing else on......glad I did to be honest.

Whether this was a work or not......probably one of the best and heartfelt promos I've seen in almost 10 years.

Don't really following wrestling anymore because the current product doesn't appeal to me.....but this was very gravitating.

 

Punk's leaving in a few weeks anyway......but you have to wonder if he'll be removed from his World Title Match at MITB because of his comments. Don't want to fall into a trap.....but he did mention New Japan Wrestling and Ring of Honor in his promo. He also mentioned Colt Cabana...referencing a non WWE competitor.

WOW! The second video is when Punk took it a step further by slamming Johnny Ace, Stephanie and HHH. Promo of the decade, hands down! Don't know if it was a shoot or not but he said what many people have thought.

 

The death blow....he bad mouthed HHH....Stephanie McMahon, Johnny Ace and Vince McMahon. Punk also said the WWE will likely change once Vince is dead.

Punk would most definitely had been fired if his last scheduled match in the company wasn't in three weeks. But it may be a very long time before you see him in a WWE ring again...if not ever.

 

I would have loved to hear what Punk was going to say about Vince when his mic was cut off.

Punk could very well be the Brian Pillman of the 21st century.

The two things that disappointed me from that was they cut off when he mentioned the bullying campaign (because the WWE locker room is very well knwon for that) and exposing that crap would have been great.

The second thing is that if it's not a work (which I don't think it is), then it's going to be a shame because WWE wasted the talents of Punk for so long, and it's going to be, yet again another star whose left the WWE in the 18 month span.

And yet another reason for people not to tune in.

Well I thought it was a bit ambiguous only because of how far he went with the shoot, because usually a worked WWE promo is very lacking in any fire or meaning etc. Punk basically tore the company and it's powers a new one on their flagship show, so at first you can't help but wondering.

The mark part of me took over.

I also marked out over Joey Styles' shoot promo in 2006.

 

Oh damn. He tears into everyone. Even the fans. I don't know if I can believe it's .. actually staged. I'm disappointed I missed this last night, now.

 

Said it once and will say it again. C.M. Punk is a wrestling GOD!
