NFL owners and players moved into a new phase of their clandestine labor negotiations Thursday morning at a Minneapolis-area law firm and they didn't stop until 16 hours later. The parties finally wrapped up talks a little bit past midnight CT, but they will return at 8 a.m. Friday. That's just a seven-hour break after a marathon day. Owners and players arrived in the Twin Cities on Wednesday to rejoin the negotiations after three days of meetings between the parties' legal teams, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and NFL Players Association executive director DeMaurice Smith. Goodell and Smith, who were in Minnesota on Monday and Tuesday, returned from a brief Florida foray to rejoin the talks. Source: NFL.com
