The Boston Herald reports that the Patriots could look into acquiring WR Chad Ochocinco if he's released by the Bengals once the lockout is lifted. Ochocinco has one more year on his contract, but he’s made no secret he wants out of Cincinnati. It appears the Bengals want a divorce, too. The report says "with Bill Belichick’s affection for him, Ochocinco may, in fact, find a way to end up in Foxboro." It would be a surprise if Ochocinco stayed in Cincinnati in 2011, but the Bengals have been known to be unconventional before.

What makes anyone think he'll be released when Brown did what he did to Chad last year and what he's doing to Carson this year?

If he is released I'd be on board with the Pats bringing him in.

Why the hell would the patriots want anything to do with him after trading Moss for the exact same crap you're gonna get from Chad?

I wonder if Chad is up for Revis shutting him down twice a year.

He'd definitely welcome the move in order to get away from Ike Taylor who abuses him time after time...lol.

And get abused by Revis? Chad's gonna run his mouth. Get fined some more, and in the end? He won't do anything but end up looking for another team in 2012.

Chad is still good for a thousand yards and some TD's. I don't see why the Pats would sign him though. He's a baby Moss minus the skill.
