Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk is hearing that July 17 is the new target date for the announcement of a new labor deal. Florio admits that the date is subject to change -- and probably will. It's clear now that ESPN's John Clayton was overly optimistic in predicting the deal's finalization by Friday. Most of the key issues could be solved by then, however.
