Free Agent RB DeAngelo Williams Tells Friends He's Interested In Giants

  1. Free agent running back DeAngelo Williams has told friends that he would be interested in playing for the Giants if they don't retain free agent Ahmad Bradshaw. Williams is going to give the Panthers the first crack at re-signing him, but he'll have plenty of suitors. Bradshaw recently said there's a 75 percent chance he'll be back with the Giants, but other reports have that closer to 50-50. Bradshaw said in a recent radio interview in Miami that he is also interested in playing for the Dolphins.

Lol. After saying he wants to retire with the Panthers. But, I guess that's not a done deal, so you have to keep the options open.

I guess he's saying that he wants to retire with the Panthers, but if he can't, he'd like to go to the Giants.

My advice: Trade Williams and next years draft picks to the Eagles for DeSean Jackson. Steve Smith's on his way out, and DeSean'd be a great replacement.

why would the eagles - a passing team - trade their top WR for a running back ?
