ESPN Insider Chris Mortensen reports that free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha may be willing to "take a little less money" to sign with a playoff contender. The Texans could qualify as a contender in a projection, but the latest word from Mortensen is that the Jets are in play. It's clear Asomugha's market will be as big -- if not bigger -- than anticipated, especially if he's willing to consider teams that lack monster cap space. Mortensen reported Tuesday morning that Houston would probably make Asomugha the biggest offer. But Mortensen also said that Nnamdi wants to go somewhere where he can begin to focus on his post-playing career and has interesting in pursuing an acting career. Source: Chris Mortensen: Twitter.com
Take five dollars, come help me move Saturday. But, for serious. I wish he'd end up in New Orleans, though I don't see that happening.
Dude...Batman is filmed in Pittsburgh isn't it? What about that terrible movie starring Bruce Willis? It's a hot spot...lol.
You guys do know he mainly covers #2 WR's and for the coverage skills the guy does have, he doesn't create very many turnovers. That type of CB, although very talented is not worth the money he is going to get, especially at his age.
