Scott Bair of the North County Times reports that Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson will sign his one-year, $11.3 million franchise tender on Friday. GM A.J. Smith recently suggested Jackson could receive a long-term contract from the Chargers if he stayed out of trouble, which may be one of the incentives for Jackson to report on time.
