Eagles-Cardinals Trade For QB Kevin Kolb "Not Dead", Remain In Negotiations

If there were a surprise Tuesday it's that the Philadelphia Eagles didn't make a move with backup quarterback Kevin Kolb, but stay tuned. Clark Judge of CBS Sports reports the Eagles and Arizona Cardinals continue to talk, with Cardinals' cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie the centerpiece of discussions. Philadelphia wants something more than Rodgers-Cromartie, and a second-round draft pick is what it the two seem to be talking about. The deal isn't dead, far from it. And most persons expect it to happen, but if Philadelphia can't get what it wants, don't be surprised to see the Eagles do nothing and keep Kolb another season.

I think this should go down as the worst trade of all-time.

It would be up there. But onenof the best for the Eagles...

 

if the eagles walk away from this deal because they cant get a pick in addition to DRC i will lose it. it would be no better then mike brown wasting a chance to get better by moving palmer.

Did you so soon forget about the Roy Williams trade a 1rd, 3rd, 6th and a 5 years 45 million dollars contract?

If you think this wouldn't be a bigger mistake by the Cardinals than we made, you, sir, are a fool. ESPECIALLY if they give the 1st the Eagles allegedly want.

 

Thats peanuts compared to the Walker trade

And at the time, half of the NFL's fan base's wanted to make that deal

 

I will never ever forgive Arizona if they give up DRC and a 1st or 2nd for Kolb.
