Drew Brees said extending his own contract isn't top priority right now on an interview on WWL-AM in New Orleans. "When time comes to talk about extending the contract, we're ready to do that," Brees said. "But after this process to get back to football, that's really all I'm looking forward to right now. Establishing an identity as a team and trying to win another championship." Brees is entering the final year of his six-year contract he inked in 2006. He's only slated to make around $7 million in base salary in 2011. Source: CBS Sports
