The Miami Dolphins will release inside linebacker Channing Crowder, Armando Salguero of the Sun-Sentinel reports. Crowder was set to earn $2.5 million in base salary, plus had a $1 million roster bonus and $250,000 workout bonus in the final year of his contract. Miami signed inside linebacker Karlos Dansby to a five-year, $43 million contract and acquired Tim Dobbins from the San Diego Chargers last offseason.
