Future Hall of Fame receiver Randy Moss has decided to retire rather than continue playing. "After weighing his options and contemplating offers, he's decided to retire," Moss' agent, Joel Segal said Monday. Moss, who played in New England from 2007 until early last season, accumulated 954 receptions, 14,858 receiving yards and 153 touchdowns over the course of a 13-year career. He was a first-round pick of Minnesota in 1998 out of Marshall University, and also played for Oakland, New England and Tennessee. Source: ESPN.com
You think Ocho Cinco in New England and Burress getting $3 million a year had something to do with it? Some one will try to get him "out" of retirement. Did he actually file the papers?
I don't think I've ever seen a talent like Moss at the WR position all of a sudden fade into bolivian in just one season.
This^^ And there's a case to be made that Arizona could be a logical choice. Once the lead man in the best WR corps in the league, Fitzgerald is now a lone duck out there.
