Panthers signed free agent quarterback Derek Anderson, formerly of the Cardinals. One of the worst quarterbacks in football, Anderson holds a career record of 18-25 with a completion rate (52.6) that makes Rex Grossman look accurate. His TD-to-INT ratio is 53:55, although it drops to 24:36 if you throw out Anderson's fluky 2007 season. A game-costing error waiting to happen, Anderson will look to revitalize his career reuniting with new Panthers OC Rob Chudzinski. Ideally, Anderson won't play a single snap this year.
