Defensive end Hilee Taylor, claimed off waivers by the Detroit Lions during the weekend, won’t be reporting to camp anytime soon. “Hilee made a personal decision to pursue other opportunities beyond football and start a new chapter in his life,†Taylor’s agent, Kevin Omell, wrote in an e-mail to the Free Press. The Lions claimed Taylor off waivers from the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. When the backup failed to report, they placed him on the reserve/did not report list.
