It’s been quite a while since we’ve heard from Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, almost five months, in fact. During the time, Peterson’s had a change of heart about some stirring comments he made just before the NFL lockout that lasted 4 ½ months began. If you recall back to March, Peterson compared the role players have in the league to “modern-day slavery,â€￾ something that made zero sense when you consider the rich pay checks many players receiver. "I regret using those words because obviously there is nothing, absolutely nothing that you can compare to slavery," Peterson said Friday, according to Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "It stands alone. It was something that I should have used better wording to put that out there. But it's spoiled milk, it's old and it's over with."

Trying to save face now. Too Late, AP. You've been labeled as one of the NFL's Idiots. No turning back, now.

Yeah. Twitter is getting a lot of these guys in over their head. They should really know better. But, I guess slaves don't get that education that's offered to us.
