Redskins quarterback John Beck left team drills Saturday afternoon because of discomfort in a groin muscle according to Rich Campbell of the Washington Times. Beck was injured while scrambling on a play during 11-on-11 work. “I felt a little something, so I didn’t feel like I needed to push it,†he said after practice. “I don’t think it’s going to be anything serious. I was just trying to be precautionary so it doesn’t end up being anything serious.†“I was mad,†Beck said. “You want to be out there. Those are reps that I want to be taking, reps that were designated to me, and I want to be out there taking them because all those things are going to help me.†Source: Redzone.org
