The NFL has informed its 32 teams that this summer's supplemental draft will be held August 17, according to a source within the league. No names of eligible players were included as part of the notice. Furthermore, teams were not notified as to when the draft order will be determined. The only information sent at this time, according to the source, was the date of the draft. Former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor and Georgia running back Caleb King are thought likely to be among those included, and North Carolina defensive end Michael McAdoo, who was suspended for the 2011 season due to academics, is also thought to be considering a request to be included in the draft. I believe since Pryor was notified he would've been suspended for the entire 2011 season had he returned to Ohio State......he should be eligible for the summer draft despite not knowing so at the time he declared.
Five teams that may consider Pryor in the supplemental draft: 1.) Bills 2.) Browns 3.) Dolphins 4.) Raiders 5.) Redskins
Yeah, AFTER the NFL told him he wasn't eligible because he chose to leave school with no extenuating circumstances. If the NFL fall for this bullcrap out of Columbus they should all be water boarded. OSU has balls I'll give'em that.
its a loophole, but the NFL didnt "tell him" they didnt know if there was even gonna be one so there were no plans made or eligibility rules in place. they banned him from the school to help him, i mean its the least they could do really
Bullcrap. T.P. served no penalty for freaking his teammates and school over. But, hey I guess that's life. Wouldn't want the NFL to look racist and not let him in the Sup. Draft. K Train that's what I got from this story: http://gridironfans.com/forums/latest-nfl-headlines/159648-nfl-may-rule-ohio-state-qb-terrelle.html
lol he might be a pr**k but the osu officals arent exactly choir boys in all that went down. it would be goobered to just not let him play next year and make him sit a year out, who cares...while its not EXACTLY what the supplemental draft is for, its at least kinda. hes not going back to the NCAA and if they dont let him get drafted through the supplemental they should let him sign as a free agent. hes 3 years removed from high school, hes not affiliated with any amateur association, the NFL could sign me right now if they wanted to because i fit those requirements, him being blocked would just be stupid imo
