Bengals Receive Multiple Calls About Availability Of QB Carson Palmer

Discussion in 'Cincinnati Bengals' started by BigBlueBruiser, Aug 9, 2011.

  1. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports the Bengals have gotten multiple calls about quarterback Carson Palmer's availability and have told whoever is calling that they are not dealing him. Schefter notes that a few years ago, the Redskins offered two first-round picks for a disgruntled Chad Ochocinco and the Bengals turned it down. Last week, they traded a quieter Ocho to the Patriots for a fifth- and sixth-round pick. Perhaps Palmer will get the trade he desires next offseason. It's not happening now.

Retirement means nothing in the NFL these days. Look at Ricky Williams. Or, the better example? Brett Favre. If they are willing to trade him at some point, I'm sure Carson will come back and play. Cincy is a joke.

The Bungles are gonna stay the Bungles. Seriously, they could could have really gotten a great trade for CPalmer... He's not gonna play for in the stripes anymore, can't say that I blame him.

It's hard to blame him for that. Look at the reputation Cincy has built. Criminals. Loud-mouthed ignorant pr**ks. Just, ridiculous.
