Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder announced that he plans to retire. Crowder made the announcement on WQAM radio in Miami. Crowder, a six-year starter for Miami, was released following the team's first practice of training camp. Miami signed Kevin Burnett to replace Crowder. Crowder was cut by the Dolphins but did visit the New Orleans Saints. Crowder spent his entire six-year career with the Dolphins after being drafted in 2005 out of Florida. Source: ESPN
