I don't think it will work our for the US soccer. Klinsmann isn't a coach, he's a motivator. Löw was the man behind the scenes, who was responsible for the soccer related things. Klinsmann is responsible for Budda figures and feng-shui stuff

 

You'll still be our snitches in the field. You have nobody to stop Chicharito and Giovani :icon_cheesygrin:

Seriously, though...good hire.

 

It would be better if he were 7 or 8 world class players. That's about what we're short.

 

Its never going to pan out until soccer players start making millions of dollars in the US

 

I love how they make out Landon Donovan to be a world class player, when in reality he is no where close to that level.

10 Landon Donovan's would still make USA a very average team.

 

Yeah, all our soccer players seem to be around 5'10" too.

 

Klinsmann will definitely help. I'm excited for the future of US soccer.

The US are def. heading in the right direction and have never been more talented.

 

Don't think so. You guys peaked in 02-06, during Donovan and friends' prime. I've seen your U20 and U17 teams and don't look very impressive. The future doesn't look that bright.

I remember when he was coach at Munic. He didn't even last a whole season bc he sucked at coach

 

yeah pretty sure that's not why. He had a 58% winning rate which is very good for soccer.

 

Only when he has a soccer mind in the back, doing the soccer related things for him....

Admittedly I'm no soccer buff, but the US got freaking hosed. Since when can you grab a players shirt and drag him down while he's on a run to the goal with the ball????

 

you wnt to still question Klinsmann? He coached his butt off tonight and adjusted perfectly in the 2nd half.

 

shoulda been a heckin red. The ref was a disgrace.
