QB Daunte Culpepper didn't play in the NFL in 2010, but that doesn't mean he's ready to retire. "He badly wants back in," Jason LaCanfora said on NFL Network's NFL Total Access on Wednesday night. "He hasn't been able to get much feedback from NFL teams to this point, but he says he's more than willing to go and work out for anyone to come in and basically just try out. He just wants an opportunity to prove he can be one of the 96 quarterbacks in the league whether that means a No. 3 or a No. 2." LaCanfora cited the Panthers, Ravens and Dolphins as teams "in the market for a veteran presence somewhere in their quarterback room." Culpepper is a three-time Pro Bowler with 24,153 career passing yards and 149 TD passes since he was first-round pick of the Vikings in 1999. However he's never really displayed his previous high level of play since suffering a major knee injury in 2005, his last with Minnesota.

I think he meant to say "he badly wants money".

Because he will never be anything more than a backup, if that.

Maybe the Panthers should hook him up, so when all fails with Cam..Culpepper can at least give them veteran experience in there. ;]

I don't see anyone taking him. If I was him I would look for a analyst job. Those pay well and you still get to talk about football
