The Bears were hoping Vernon Gholston would start to show signs of living up to his potential after moving from the Jets' 3-4 defense to the Bears' 4-3. He didn't have a single sack in his three seasons with the Jets. Pro Football Weekly hears he's not showing any flashes at Bears camp, though, as he battles for a spot in the rotation at defensive end. A source called him a 50-50 shot, at best, to make the roster. A lot of us were wrong, just goes to show nobody really knows if someone will bust or not. I thought for sure Rodgers would bust, coming from the coach he came from...and the long list of failed QB's who came from under him.
