    DeSean Jackson told Tim McManus of Philly Sports Daily that he will play against the Steelers on Thursday. The receiver missed the opener against Baltimore, having just ended his holdout a few days before. Jackson has taken out an insurance policy and intends to practice and play for the foreseeable future, even in the absence of a new contract.

    Normally I can't stand holdouts.. But in this case the kid has definitely earned it. He needs to have a nice payday. Dude is a playmaker..
