Redskins quarterback John Beck will start in Friday's preseason game against the Colts. Beck missed the preseason opener due to a groin injury, but is now practicing fully. Coach Mike Shanahan is giving him a chance to seize back control of the quarterback battle after Rex Grossman handled himself quite well last week against the Steelers. Beck, who hasn't appeared in a game since 2007, has had the backing of the coaching staff ever since the lockout broke. Friday's start will be vital to his chances of cementing the job. Preseason or not. If you have talent, it will show. Rex Grossman can have a good game now and again. He's just not consistent.
Watch and see, the Skins will be better than you guys think. It looks messy but they always pull something out their butt.
