Euclid native and former OSU Buckeye Thaddeus Gibson was released by the 49ers on Monday. Gibson, who spent a portion of last season with the team, was listed as a third string linebacker in the 49ers' preseason depth chart behind Parys Haralson and Aldon Smith. With the recent addition of Antawn Applewhite, Gibson's fate with the team has been sealed. Applewhite is expected to replace Gibson. Gibson, 23, is entering his second year in the NFL after being drafted in the fourth round by the Steelers. Source: The News-Herald
hes just so young and really should have stayed at school....bring him back, he'll be better than worilds even if he has to wait a few years
Yeah i think he just needs to get into a situation where a team can afford to wait on him...I would have said i'd take him in Baltimore but with Kruger moving back to LB and him a Kindle looking really good so far i'd say there is probably no need.
yeah i really think he needs to sit a few years....hes the perfect project 34 OLB conversion guy, just raw speed and power at the moment though hes like a mixture of woodley and timmons, but he could also probably play MLB in like a karlos dansby type role
