Ravens Interested In Ex-Vikings OT Bryant McKinnie

  1. The Chicago Sun-Times has reported that the Ravens are interested in signing tackle Bryant McKinnie, whose troubled tenure with the Minnesota Vikings ended this year when he was cut. The Vikings cut him last month when he reportedly showed up for training camp weighing close to 400 pounds. He has played left tackle for most of his career, so if he signed with the Ravens, he could potentially fill that role with Michael Oher switching back to the right side. The Ravens’ offensive line remains unsettled with their season opener against Pittsburgh less than three weeks away. Rookie Jah Reid started at right tackle against Kansas City last week, and the team just signed veteran Mark LeVoir, who was cut last week by the Patriots but immediately joined the Ravens’ first team at practice.

Someone has to sign him. The Ravens sound desperate enough.

I think they signed him for a two-year deal.

Mckinnie has been told he was signed to play LT, this should be interesting lol. But if he's in somewhat decent shape and can play an above average to average LT we are sooo much better for it. Oher is a stud at RT, meh on the left side. Yanda is good at RT but a stud at G.
